Pentecost Is Still Alive

As the culture of America changes, so do some of the people within church services.  This past month I ministered at a church where a cross-dresser came in and sat on the front row with their friend who invited them.  When he walked into the church, he told the pastor, “Well I didn't burst into flames.”  I intended to preach a message that would touch on homosexuality, and I chose not to change my message. I gave an altar call at the end of the service and during the time of ministry I prayed for this individual. He was mightily hit by the power of God and fell to the floor weeping profusely. It was amazing to watch God begin a miracle in this man’s life.

In another service, I gave the altar call for repentance and around fifty people responded to get right with God and repent of their sins.  As I started to minister and wait on the Lord for direction God sovereignly began to move on the children. The young people from around age 12 and under were being touched in a glorious way.  The Holy Spirit began to move on them in travail. Young people just began to cry out! Almost every child in the service experienced God like they had never experienced Him before.  Two seven year old girls come to mind because they came up to me and asked me to pray for them again.  They said, "That thing you just did to us, do it again, it's the best feeling we have ever felt in our lives.”  We know it was Jesus, but it was awesome to see the purity in those young girls. The pastor told me he had never seen God touch the kids like that the since he had been there.

Thank God that Pentecost is still alive! I’ve shared these stories just as an encouragement that God is on the move and I believe He is about to pour out His Spirit on all flesh! Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!
