March 2010 Newsletter

Hello Friends and family,

This past month has been absolutely wonderful!  We have had the privilege to travel throughout America once again, and God is moving in power!  Even now, as I write this newsletter, we are on the road carrying the unchanging matchless message of the gospel of Jesus Christ once again. This is what I live for; to carry His word, and by the grace of God, to demonstrate His power in the earth to a bound, lost and dying generation.

One of the visions that I have cast for this ministry over and over again is to mobilize  entire cities to reach millions throughout America. We are on the brink of seeing this vision come to pass. Christ For All Nations (“CFAN”) is the ministry that Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke birthed decades ago.  His ministry has literally seen around sixty million people come to Christ this past decade throughout the world.  As you may know, Reinhard Bonnke  has brought another evangelist along beside him by the name of Daniel Kolenda over the last couple of years. They recently flew me into Orlando and asked me to head up their state-side evangelism and church mobilization in their upcoming crusades in America.  I will be invited to speak at some of their regional gatherings prior to their citywide crusades.  They will be endorsing me as one of their evangelists and encouraging others to rally behind me in equipping and mobilization in order to touch the entire city. I believe this is the manifestation of what I have been longing and laboring after for many years. This is the birth of a great and mighty harvest of souls in the United States of America. Halleluiah!  As I write these words I feel the spirit of God and tears welling up in my eyes at the potential of the reality of America being touched by the power of the gospel.

One of the exciting things I’ve been asked to do is partner with them in writing an evangelism manual.  Some of my teaching in the Acts 29 School of Evangelism will be combined with writings of Reinhard Bonnke, Daniel Kolenda, and Jeff Lewis. In the short months ahead I will have the privilege of co-authoring this evangelism training manual with one of the  greatest evangelist who has ever lived on the earth.  Words cannot express the zeal in my heart and the potential that lies ahead in the coming months. I covet your prayers in this upcoming endeavor. As you partner with this ministry with prayer and finances, God is building a battle axe that will be used to destroy the works of the devil in this nation.  I am thankful for the team and partnership that God is putting together through you and me.

We have also had the privilege of traveling to Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, southern Texas, Mexico, and Louisiana this past month.  I had the opportunity to minister at FIRE school of ministry with Dr. Michael Brown in Concorde, Carolina. Many people repented, received a touch from God, and were  empowered to proclaim the gospel.  Dr. Brown was the president of the Bible school where I attended in Pensacola,  Florida.  The professor who led me to the Lord in 1998, Bob Gladstone, was also in attendance. It was a genuine honor that they would invite me to come and minister along side them.  It is a sign to me that if you are faithful in the little things, God will allow you to do things you would have never imagined.

The time in Mexico was absolutely amazing.  We were able to minister with a good friend of mine, Mark Loyer, who attended bible school with me.  He has teamed up with another brother named Chacho, who received salvation through the Brownsville revival, as well.  They have planted many churches in Mexico and God used me to help strengthen their ministry. Many souls were saved and the time of ministry was very fruitful.  The demon-possessed were delivered, and many were touched by the power of God in a manner they had never experienced before.  I am planning to continue with these dear brothers who are serving faithfully in Northern Mexico. When we enter the kingdom of God, there will be Hispanics who will thank every one of us for reaching out to them with the gospel. Amen!

Just this past weekend I was able to speak at Bethany World Prayer Center, which is the largest church that I have spoken in.  It was an honor and privilege to minister with Pastors Joel and Larry Stockstill.  I ministered there for four days.  During that time, scores of people repented and were challenged to be a bolder witness in preaching the gospel to those they meet.  During my first few days of ministry there were many delivered of life-controlling hindrances.  In the last service at the North Campus, 72 people repented and received salvation. Bethany World Prayer Center averages 6,000-8,000 people each weekend and they have asked me to come back this fall to mobilize their North campus.  When I return, we will probably reach outside of the church to well over 15,000 people in one weekend.

I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayer and support. These newsletters are a combination of all the fruit God has given us through our partnering together. There is no “I” in the word “team.”  I am very thankful for you.  I look forward to seeing or speaking with you in the days ahead.

Together in the Harvest,

Joe Oden.
