Hello friends and family,
I pray everyone has experienced a wonderful beginning of 2012. For me, the start of a new year always seems to come with fresh energy for the work of the Lord. My prayer is that this ministry would bear more fruit this year than ever before. Please come into agreement with me in prayer for that to become a reality.
The month of January went very well. We have been able to minister in the Dallas metroplex every weekend. This has been very helpful because I am teaching four days out of the week in two different Bible Schools (Christ for the Nations and Heartland School of Ministry). I am privileged to have well over 250 students combined in both of the schools. Teaching this many hours on one subject (Evangelism) takes lots of preparation! However, inFebruary we will start hitting the airport again.
We have seen many souls come to Jesus this past month. According to our calculations, somewhere around 115-135 got right with Jesus. This is one of the heartbeats of this ministry. We still give strong altar calls every week for people to get right with Jesus or come to Christ for the first time. This is a staple in our ministry. As you partner with this ministry you strengthen us to throw the net every week of the year.
In one of the Sunday night services this past month we gave a call to pray for the sick. One particular lady had arthritis and osteoporosis. She testified that they were both healed. She went on to testify that the osteoporosis had caused the bones in her back to become crooked. After the Lord touched her she felt her bones straighten up and she was completely healed. It was amazing! There were many other notable miracles that took place this night. One young lady was healed of a 12-year battle with depression and suffered with a bi-polar disorder. It effected her family so much that her mother wrote us the next day. “My daughter Alicia went to the church service last night and said she had not felt so happy in 12-13 years. She has been healed from her Bi-Polar and depression... I would like to know when you will be in the Azle area again so that I can bring my other daughter. God bless. Myla” God is so good! By His stripes you were healed. Let this encourage you if you need healing! Lift your hands and believe God one more time!
In another service I received a word of knowledge for a lady that was sitting on the front row that she had arthritis in her knees. I asked her if she did and she replied that she did. She was healed right then and testified that she was pain free for pretty much the first time in around 45 years. We serve a God that is still in the healing business and will never go out of business
I am always blessed when little children get touched be the power of God. While in Terrell, Texas this past week after the service was well into the altar time some of the kids between ages 8-12 began to get hit by the power of God. I brought five of them up to the platform to try and describe what was happening to them. They all said they had never experienced anything like that before in their lives. They said it was the best feeling they had ever felt. One eight year old boy said he could feel it in every cell of his body. They will never be the same and no one will ever be able to tell them that the power of God is not real.
Our teams that go to the homosexual districts every week had a powerful time this past Friday. They informed me that homosexuals were giving their lives to Christ. They were being so touched by the power of God that some could not even stand up straight. They were weeping under the conviction of the Holy Spirit. There are no places in the world where the darkness can hold back the love and light of Christ!
We also have a team of people who go to a rave club every Sunday morning at 5:30 a.m. to hand out water to people who have been partying on drugs all night. We just received word that a girl who just enrolled in Bible school was at that club and said God used the “group of Christians” outside the club to convict her and propelled her to repent and get right with God. She is now going on Sunday mornings and helping them reach out! Praise God!!
