June Newsletter

Hello friends and family,

 

I pray that this letter finds you over-flowing with God’s sweet Holy Spirit.  Things are heating up in the natural because summer is here.  I pray that things would also begin to heat up in the supernatural, and that Jesus would send a powerful revival to our land.

 

This past month has been amazing!  God is on the move; we just have to move with Him.  Many souls have been recently saved, healed, and delivered!  I am convinced of this fact: whatever you preach Jesus to be, He will be indeed.  If you preach a saving Jesus, He will save.  If you preach a healing Jesus, He will heal.  If you preach a delivering Jesus, He will deliver.  Jesus cannot demonstrate what you do not preach Him to be.  If there is a church with no salvation or miracles, you have a church where salvation and miracles are not being proclaimed or preached.  The church that does preach salvation and miracles is a church where this is common place.  I choose to preach the whole Gospel, therefore Gospel power is maximized.      

 

Many of the churches I have had the opportunity to minister at the past several weeks have experienced mighty manifestations of the Holy Spirit.  Healing, words of knowledge, salvation, and deliverance have had a divine flow.  One pastor told me it was the best service they’ve had in two years.  His church experienced a mighty wind of revival.  Many were called into there destiny and filled with Holy Spirit and fire!  I will be going back in a few months to mobilize their entire church to reach out in the community and win the lost.

 

I was with some good friends of mine, Pastor Dennis and Cindy Land, in East Texas a few weeks ago.  I took around 25 students and parishioners from Heartland to be apart of the community-wide outreach.  It was a very powerful weekend.  I taught on Saturday and used several evangelism skits with my team of 25, then we reached out in water distribution and door-to-door evangelism.  We mobilized around 50 people and reached around 2,000 people or more.  People were saved during the outreach, and several people came to the church because of the outreach.  It was great!

 

However, the wind of God blew into the place with great strength and might on Sunday night.  Deliverance and healing filled the room!  Many were set free from depression and healed of all kinds.  The youth pastor was fully or tremendously hearing impaired in one of his ears for around 14 years (if I recall correctly), and God instantly opened it.  It was a miracle!  Another lady had not breathed freely for many years due to very severe allergies, and God instantly cleared years of blockage for her to breathe normal again for the first time.  A ten year knee problem was healed, as well.  It was a night of miracles and destroying of the devil’s work!  Praise God!

 

Over the next several weeks I will be in San Francisco, CA., Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.  Please pray that God will continue to pour out His Spirit as we mobilize the church and that revival would be evident in every service.

 

I have a few needs I would like you to share with you to pray about if you feel God impressing on you to get behind our ministry in these areas.  I am currently in the process of getting a 501(c)(3) for Joe Oden Ministries.  For the past ten years, I have been under the umbrella of another wonderful missions-minded organization, but feel God moving me to officially become Joe Oden Ministries.  We need a new office computer (the one we have has decided to stop working), accounting software, and a part-time administrative assistant.  Future newsletters will come from Joe Oden Ministries in Texas, instead of North Carolina.
