Hello friends and family,
This has been a fabulous month. I hope you’ve had a great start to 2009, as well. With everything that needs to be done this year, I feel this ministry could not have received a better start. As you know, it is not always how you start, but how you finish. As for me and the work God has given this ministry, we plan to finish even stronger than we started.
I had the privilege to minister several times this past month. One church in particular was Fountain of Life in North Richland Hills, Texas. Several dozens of people received salvation or re-commited their life to Christ, and several people were healed. Two people testified of being healed of fibromyalgia. A medical doctor said he was healed and a young girl was healed of scoliosis. Her written testimony is now on our website. She had pain for seven years every day and was side-lined from sports. The pain completely left and her back was healed. I spoke with her four days later and still no pain; this was the first time she was pain-free in seven years. The pastor at this church wants to continue the meetings, and we will be holding monthly services at this point. Who knows what God has in store!
I also spoke in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and many different places in Texas. It was an honor to speak for Steve Hill at Heartland World Ministries, as well. Throughout the first of this year, we have seen over a hundred, and possibly hundreds of people saved and made right with God. It has been a great way to kick off the year.
We have also been working on pulling together a major outreach in San Francisco this summer. It will be the first launch to a host of cities to follow throughout America. Our vision is to lay siege on key cities throughout the U.S. like Chicago, New Orleans, Miami, Washington D.C., Dallas, Los Angeles, Hollywood, and many others. This outreach consists of a team of evangelists, which include Steve Hill, Scott Hinkle, Rodney Howard Brown, Cindy Jacobs, Samuel Rodriguez, Larry Tomczak, myself, and many others. We are calling this initiative Summer2GO. We believe that this will start a nation-wide movement for evangelism through signs, wonders, and miracles.
The goal is that every evangelist will mobilize strategic areas in each city through training local churches to share the Gospel effectively, and operate in the miraculous. As many of you may recall in past letters, I have prayed for years that key people would catch this vision. If you are faithful in the little things, God will allow you to be a part of bigger things. So please continue to pray over this outreach because this could be a major avenue that God will use to bring America back to Himself.
We are also aggressively putting together a template of a new initiative called “Voices for Justice” that focuses on protecting the fabric of our nation. It concerns the issues of the sanctity of marriage, and the next generation that will grow up in America. I do not want to see the next generation confused about how God intended the marriage covenant.
We are endeavoring to mobilize every church in the Dallas Metroplex. This consists of 2,500 to 4,000 churches. We are in the process of contacting every pastor and asking them to join us in a rally in downtown Dallas for a time of worship, prayer, and the Word concerning critical areas that could rip the fabric of our nation in half. We will be having key leaders speak on subjects such as what Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. really envisioned with the civil rights movement, how a part of the fabric of our nation is that marriage is between a man and a woman, and the need for our education system to uphold Biblical principles of parenting.
This is not a protest; it is a call for justice. With the homosexual agenda peaking, the church has lost her focus and went to sleep. It is now time for her to arise and lift her voice once again. My heart is gripped to awake the church from her sleepy slumber over this nation’s condition, and see our core values as a nation not slip away.
From this rally, our goal is for this not to be a one-time event, but a movement that will start in Dallas and sweep the nation. We pray that every city will rally in their key locations to lift up their voices to God for justice in America. If we fail to arise in this hour, it will be too late in another year or two. The time is now!!
I would like you to consider sowing into this vision. This is something that will take more finances and staff than I have at this point. This is not just a vision to save a soul, though that alone is priceless to Jesus, but to help save a nation. We are willing to go into a dark pit and face demonic assault from many aspects, we just need your help in holding the rope while we enter the pit. You can be a rope-holder. If the one holding the rope releases their grip, the one in the pit dies. Consider holding the rope as we lift our Voices for Justice.
